The Late Ottoman and Russian Empires

Welcome to the National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Seminar for College and University Teachers on citizenship, belonging and difference in the late Ottoman and Russian Empires. The seminar will provide participants with stimulating discussions of readings, lectures by leading visiting scholars, and opportunities to conduct research in the libraries and archives of the nation's capital. We will meet between June 9 and June 27, 2014 at George Washington University, in Washington, D.C.
